ARES of Delaware County joined up with CCDC, MRC and Delaware County Emergency Services last night at National Night Out. We were at Lansdowne, Marple, Morton, Springfield and Upland. It was a beautiful day for the event, and we had a good time showing the public what we do.
W3BIG was at Morton and connected to Winlink. I had some issues connecting to a RMS server from Springfield, the out of county stations were just outside of my reach with a magnetic mount antenna. Hence the need to get W3AEC-10 back on the air in Lima to give us better coverage in the area.
