Please see the below invitation from Dick Stewart (K3ITH) to a meeting with the ARES District 1 members and the American Red Cross Southeast Pennsylvania group. This will be a great opportunity to meet people from ARC and other ARES groups from around the area.
Through the leadership of Philadelphia County EC Cliff Hotchkiss, KC3PGT and his team, the EPA District One EC’s and AEC’s have been invited to attend a joint meeting with the American Red Cross Southeast Pennsylvania (SEPA) group. ARES and Red Cross both cover the same counties and the Red Cross is ARES Philadelphia County’s served agency. This is an excellent opportunity to get to know each other plus meet face-to-face. A free lunch will be provided by the Red Cross. There will be an opportunity for each EC or representative to briefly talk about their individual county capabilities and experience and answer any questions from the Red Cross.
The date is Saturday, August 20, 2022 starting at noon till about 3 pm at the Norristown State Hospital, Building 33, in Norristown, PA. Please see the attached announcement which includes a map and directions.
